Driving Here
From Lusaka
Take the T2, the Great North Road, north out of Lusaka. The drive is roughly 140km and takes about an hour and forty five minutes in ordinary traffic. As you come into Kabwe, head toward the town centre and turn into Luangwa Avenue. Allow extra time on Friday afternoons and around month end.
From the Copperbelt
Come south on the Great North Road through Kapiri Mposhi. Kabwe sits directly on the route. From Ndola the drive is roughly two hours, from Kitwe a little over two.
From Kenneth Kaunda International Airport
The airport is about 155km away, roughly two hours by road.

That makes it a natural overnight stop for anyone driving the corridor, and a practical base for business in the mines, industry and government offices around town.
